today was my second lesson i had for driving... (yes, i finally started to learn driving after so long..) the sir taught me how to do the parking.. and boy does my arms hurt now... turning the steering all the way to the left, then to the right, to the left again and it continues... spent 1 hour going up the lil 'hill', drive down, do the parking then the 3-point turn and on and on.... till my arms were wobbly and my face was red due to the tremendous heat even though the air-cond was on... lucky for me, the car didn't 'choked to death' aka 'si hoay'.. except once when going down the 'hill'.. me released the clutch too fast... hehe after that was going on the road the sir let me drive home!! pretty freaky cos there were lots of cars at green lane.. thankfully nothing happened this time... not like the first time i was on the road.. the car died on a junction and the traffic light happened to turn green... and so as some of you might have guessed already, a inconsiderate, impatient, mindless a$$hole had to honk at me... not once but non-stop at me... after i managed to start my car and drove it round the corner, that stupid car 'showed off his high-speed maneuvering skills'.. damn that nimrod.. hope he gets an accident soon... hahaha!! (this is what you get when you piss me off on the road..;))
anyway, this year's ang pow money that i got isn't much compared to the previous years.... deflation? haha... at least there's some.. better than none.. spent most of the CNY holidays at home, playing cards... or more like gambling.. haha.. won some money... to buy a bday gift for me friend so that it'll not leave a hole in my wallet.. other than that, this years' Chinese New Year celebration's kinda boring.. nothing much happened..
it's back to work tomorrow... *sigh*
better get more rest.. =)

ReplyDeleteoh.. n sum of them do not have properly functioning gearboxes.. almost impossible to engage gear 1... so watch out.. hehe
practise the hill well.. coz apparently many ppl fail coz of the hill.. for parallel parking? think of it as muscle training.. hehe
cny this yr very sad.. oh well.. yr of the roosted not benefitial for those born in the yr of the rabbit.. lol

my bro said that he had a kancil with power-steering during his exam.. but i doubt that they'll have it anymore.. i'll just have to built up my biceps and triceps.. LOL :)
