i) if 9.9 out of 10 are shit, so how many percentage of shit are there?

% of shit = 9.9/10 X 100% = 99%

ii) so how many shit are out there of an approximation of 3229700?

approx. no. of shit = 99/100 X 3229700 = 3197403

iii) what is the ratio of 13090 to the approximation of 3229700?

ratio = 13090/3197403 = 1 : 244.2630 (to 4 d.p)

iv) determine the number of shit contributed from the number of 13090 here.

no. of shit contributed = 3197403/244.2630 X 1 = 13090.0014 (to 4 d.p.)

v) therefore, find the percentage of shit in the number of 13090 out here.

% of shits = 13090.0014/13090 X 100% = 100.0000% (to 4 d.p.)
