excuse me, where's our chicken??

mum was back for the weekend and drove back to Ipoh this afternoon.. her turn to stay away from home.. no, it's not National Service for nurses this time.. LOL:) mum's taking a managment course for 6 months.. so i'm the lady of the house for the time being.. haha.. anyway, had breakfast with mum and dad at the Corner Club.. bro was at his college's charity fair.. loads of food there at slaughtering prizes.. well, it's a charity fair.. it must be for a good cause.. didn't stay long cos it was starting to rain heavily..
after that was working time! time for newspaper production.. yup.. you could have guessed it.. NIE.. this time, we're doing a better one to be submitted in the competition.. everyone gathered at yi wern's house.. started off with a tour around her place.. nice~~!! as expected, gatherings like these will end up with nothing especially when you have a gang of mad guys around.. they first got glued to the computer.. browsing through yi wern's 5000 over mp3s.. wow.. amazing how many genres of songs there is in her collection..

an hour passed..
"hey, we better start doing our paper..."
"oh no, what's the name of our newpaper?? any suggestions?"
"er..poh chua? pou chi? pau zhi?"
"what about in tamil?"

after half an hour..
"gossip....gossip...crap.....gossip"
"wah.. it's already 4 something..."
"eh, what's the name of our paper?!"
"hey, smile! *snap* let's take a video"
"jeffrey ar.. u dunno how to take photos wan.. take again..."
"still blur la.. take again"
"again.."
"one more"
"haih.. let me practice first la.. *snap* *click* *snap* ok! perfect already! come!"
"cacat la.. still so blur.. not pro wan.. haha"
"eh, later wanna go for dinner bo? subaidah?"
"ok!"

and so, we came back to square one with the blank newspaper... only 2 guys managed to finish their article and even typed it out on the computer... whereas us gals ended up with nothing.. hehe.. by then, it was already 6.. all tired and hungry from fooling around we made our way to subaidah to fill our stomachs.. one piece of advice, do not order the tandoori chicken, it takes ages for them to bring it to the table and when you do have it in front of you, it's cold.. tsk.. everyone had already finished eating when my chicken was served.. haha.. talked and crap a lot.. about everything under the sun.. haha
so, what about the nespaper?? another day lah.. LOL:)
