makan!

just got back from carmen's family's lil Chinese New Year dinner at the poolside.. loads of food.. roast lamb, chicken, potatoes, mutton curry, friend vegetarian rice, salad, satay, roti benggali, salmon, salami, and etc etc.. the food was great! cozy atmosphere too! not too many ppl, just a small get-together for the new year.. they also invited someone to entertain us with his guitar, singing songs from the 70s' and 80s'.. romantic-nya.. LOL :) spent most of the time talking with carmen about Jay and his concert!! she even showed me the pics and videos she took during his 'Incomparable to Jay' concert.. ahh... =) pity daniel who had to listen to our droolings and excitment talking about Jay... well, we did talk about other things besides jay.. haha.. about our plans and stuffs.. she's going to work at NZ and then study at KL... she's gonna earn loads there.. i heard that they pay about $13 per hour.. (the exchange rate's about 2.6....) , all she has to do is pack breads, work 7 hours a day, 5 times a week... and voila! by the end of the month, about a thousand over ringgit will be in her hands... %) fast money.... $$$
anyway, gotta go to sleep already... #_^
