went for work as usual this morning.. then during lunch time, eileen and i both decided to walk around midlands.. since we had our lunch already and it was still early.. as we reached there, i saw Jay Chou's latest poster about his concert to be held at stadium negara this saturday... i wanted the poster so badly that i was tempted to tear it off from the cd shop... which i obviously did not.... we asked around the shops.. but all of them said that the poster comes with the latest album which cost RM49.49.. my oh my... at that point, how i wish i was a rich mans' daughter... all i'll do is just shop shop and shop till i drop n let the 'card' do the thing.. *ka-shing* $$$ (i bet that's every gal's dream other than to marry a rich man... LOL :) girls are so materialistic..=P well not that i'm not a girl... ah... whatever.. no offence to all the other gals k?) anyway... back to what i was talking about... so.. both of us went along up the levels... music cd shops were our target.. and i was lucky! i found one of Jay's first few albums on sale.. priced at RM 19.90.. oOoo.. cheap... very 'tat'.. GoOd! so i bought one that comes with a small-sized poster, a booklet/handbook and abour 12-13 MVs (music videos) YAY! and with eileen's genting world card, we were entitled to 10% discount! that means 2 bucks off.. wooho! afther that, we scout around the shop for more valuable stuffs... and both of us found a heap (uh huh.. okay.. maybe it was just a pile?) of posters at one corner just before we step out of the store.. then we started to dig around searching for posters that we want... after all that hassle, the guy said that those posters were not for sale but comes with their respective albums.... aww.... what a let down... but i was so determined to get those posters.. well as you all know, i'm stubborn and will not leave just like that... after some discussions with eileen, the guy suddenly came... i thought that he was willing to sell them to us after seeing how excited we were while searching the posters... but... he told us to take the posters that we wanted... as in he's giving it to us for FREE!! FOC (free of charge)!!! but asked us not to tell anyone.... *ooppss*.. i didn't mention the name of the store rite..?? *wink*
later, i bought another poster of Jay at another store... (yes,yes.. i can't help it... since i can't go for his concert, why not get something of him?? =))
all in all, i went home with 3 posters of Jay, 1 poster of Lee Hom, one Jay album with a handbook and 2 cds and of course a huge wide smile on my face! =D but eileen went home empty-handed..... :
and i only spent about RM22.41 for ALL those stuffs...
i'm so SO satisfied..!! ahh...
